Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham – Eligibility Criteria

For undergraduate programs, applicants are required to qualify in the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE). For postgraduate programs, including M.Tech, candidates must meet the academic eligibility criteria and qualify through GATE or Amrita’s prescribed selection process, as applicable. Admissions are conducted in accordance with university norms and guidelines.

B.E

The candidate must have a minimum of 45% marks in 12th or equivalent examination and must have cleared KCET/COMEDK exam He/She should also have a score of 60% in Physics and Mathematics.

M.Tech

Graduate engineers with a minimum of 50 % marks together in all subjects. He/She should have cleared the GATE/PGCET exam with a valid score to join M.Tech.

MCA

The aspirant must have a UG degree with a minimum of 50% marks and must have studied any one of the subjects like Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Application or Programming/Business Mathematics He/She must have a valid score in either Karnataka PGCET/KMAT Exam

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

The candidate should have passed Class 12th class or its equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 55% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Additionally, the candidates should have a valid score in Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering or JEE Mains Percentile Score.

Eligibility Criteria for M. Tech.

Candidates should have passed B.E. / B. Tech. (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation ), MCA, MSc Computer Science, MSc Software Engineering.
